Long periods of continuous operation can greatly increase the heat generated from the final transistors on various Texas Star DX400 DX500 DX500V and DX667V cw amps. The extra large heat sink on the bottom of these amps are known to get hot and damage the transistors.

Comes with wire to connect right to your 12vdc power supply.
